The Tackling Loneliness Hub is an interactive online community platform for people working on loneliness.
Funded by the DCMS, the Hub enables members to connect and collaborate in a safe and supportive space to generate action on loneliness.
As the sole community manager for the Tackling Loneliness Hub, I led on the community, content, and product strategy for the platform.
Activities included
- Creating and implementing an engaging content strategy, including blog posts, events, workshops, video content, and fortnightly newsletters.
- Writing user interface content, ensuring all terminology was clear, accurate and conversational.
- Using quantitative and qualitative data to develop design approaches to improve user experience.
- Analysing web traffic and community metrics.
- Onboarding and engaging with the online community of over 850 members.
Success stories
- Increasing monthly active users from 15% to 30%
- Increasing fortnightly newsletter open rates to 40% and click rates to 12%
- 100% of members agree the content shared is useful for their needs.
